My first encounter growing flowers was in 2017, when I decided to grow a small crop of tulips. I was still at college at the time, so when they flowered in April 2018, it was early mornings picking before the college bus at 7am. From there, I started experimenting with other cut flowers to help diversify our family farm.

I’m a proud member of Flowers From the Farm, an award-winning membership association championing artisan growers of seasonal, scented, locally grown British cut flowers.

I was also lucky enough to receive The Business of Flowers scholarship which has really given me a push both from the growing and business side. I have also benefited from some great mentors, Carol Siddorn & Sarah Statham, who I’m very grateful for.

I want to thank all of YOU for following me and supporting me on my journey.

Hi, I’m John,
